BiographyBonnie was a leader in the Hampstead demerger committee and was elected to Hampstead town council in 2005. She holds various portfolios including; Community Service and Recreation, Communications and co-chairs the Green committee. She has also represented Hampstead at the Agglomeration of Montreal level and at the national level with the Federation of Canadian municipalities. She began her career in banking at the age of 21, as an Assistant Branch Manager for Laurentian Bank’s Westmount Office. She worked in the Marketing department and later became the Manager of the World Trade Center branch. She worked as a marketing consultant for; PBL Photography and Cinestarz Theaters and Marketing Director for McBayview Investments (The Suburban & Le Diamant Golf Course). Drawing both from her finance and marketing experience, she lectured at Dawson College, TAV College, and LaSalle College in Economics, Finance, and Marketing. She also developed and coordinated Dawson College’s first Financial Planning Program. Bonnie is married to Glenn Langburt and has been a Hampstead resident for 16 years. They met while studying for their Bachelor degrees in Commerce at McGill University. Bonnie completed a Master of Science in Administration degree from Concordia University in 1996. Many organizations dedicated to improving all aspects of community life, including the Jewish Public Library, Just for Kids, and Comfy Cozy Fund, have benefited from Bonnie's ever-growing wealth of academic and work experiences and accomplishments. Bonnie and Glenn take great pleasure in raising their 3 beautiful daughters; Ashley, Emma and Kaylah in our wonderful Town of Hampstead. Read more about my:
